Be a Storyteller

The content that you produce about your business is very important. But it is even more important to produce quality posts. Essentially this means that your content should have a voice. That voice should be strong and resonates with your brand. There is always a story to tell and take advantage of that. You want your audience members to be captivated by what you are producing and want to learn more. You want your viewers to build a connection with the voice of you company and create a long term relationship. What you say in your content is just as important as the voice behind it.


Keep It Consistent 

If you are trying to build more of an awareness about your brand, it is crucial that you have a consistent feed of content. No one will find you if you don't have a blog post or a video for them to find. It also doesn't look good if you have a consistent feed of content, but then stop after 2 months. When people see that, they wonder what happened and does the company care about their brand? The more content that you produce, the more likely viewers will begin to find your company and subscribe to your feed. By providing consistent posts, you'll be sure to connect with some loyal customers. 

Know Your Audience

When you are creating content for your business, it is important to understand what your audience likes and dislikes. There may be special media platforms that will connect with your business rather than others. For example, is your business a clothing store? If you are thinking about providing some social media content, then Instagram may be your best platform. On there you can take pictures of the clothing and model it, then post it for others to see. Also, just understanding what your audience is looking for and what they want to learn about is good to know. If you are posting content that doesn't connect with your audience members, or your viewers aren't really searching for that particular thing, then it won't be helpful. Again, you want to be sure you are creating quality content.


Add Variety

Learn what your options are! Did you know that there are so many ways to provide content for your business? One way is to provide blog posts. You can talk about your products or services and educate people about it. Another way is through video content that show visually how the product may work. With video content there are many options that you can do. Along with blog and video content, social media is a great platform. It is one way that you can connect with your viewers on a more personal level. It is also a great way to connect with people on an everyday basis as many people check their social media feed. The options for content placement are endless!

Be True

There is nothing worse than a company trying to be something it is not. Be sure to to tie back your mission statement and your company's culture to figure out the best way to produce content with your audience members. If it doesn't sound genuine, then people may notice and not want to work with your company. Today people truly value a company that is true to itself and what it has to offer. When a viewer can pick up on your businesses goals and personality, that's when you'll make a connection.
